The Fine Line Release Notes

What changed in each version of the mastering EQ, and what it means when you are working.

1.0.5

Released 3 October 2026

A maintenance release improving Auto Gain reliability, analyzer presentation, and header workflow.

  • Auto Gain. Auto Gain now stays aligned through Audition, preset recall, A/B changes, and sample-rate changes.
  • Analyzer. The analyzer display now reaches the low-frequency edge correctly, and the bottom-left axis labels are legible.
  • Header controls. Header workflow controls (Undo/Redo, the preset strip, A/B, Bypass) are clearer and keyboard-accessible.
  • Preset menu. The preset menu now identifies the currently loaded preset.
  • Minimum window size. The minimum plug-in window size is now 900×560; projects that previously opened it smaller will reopen at that minimum.

Parameters, presets, saved session data, DSP identity, and compatibility are otherwise unchanged. Existing projects open normally.

Existing owners can download 1.0.5 from the original Lemon Squeezy download link in their purchase email.

1.0.4

Released 22 August 2026

A maintenance release fixing three workflow issues.

  • Preset recall. Restored preset recall's click-suppression duck, which had been silently lost — recalling a preset could click under certain conditions.
  • State changes. Fixed a specific startup sequence that could permanently stop A/B, Reset and preset recall from working for the life of that plugin instance.
  • Bypass & Isolate. Fixed Bypass being ignored while an Isolate preview was held.

Normal EQ audio, parameters, presets and saved-session compatibility are unchanged. Existing projects open normally.

Existing owners can download 1.0.4 from the original Lemon Squeezy download link in their purchase email.
